The CIO works with the executive team to support CCM’s vision and growth through the use of technological resources. The CIO will provide leadership to employees in the IT department and sub-departments to attain the company’s strategic goals established in the company’s strategic plan.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Education and/or Experience</strong></div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field with 15+ years of management and strategic experience in the IT field OR Master’s degree in IT related field with at least 10 years of experience in the IT field <strong><em>required</em></strong></li><li>Prior senior leadership experience in a healthcare payer organization/industry <strong><em>required</em></strong></li><li>Significant experience in and knowledge of all facets of IT; including systems applications, database administration, financial/billing systems, networks, telecommunications, computer hardware and software, etc.</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Essential Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></div><div><strong>IT Strategy Leadership</strong></div><ul><li>Establish the company’s technical vision and lead all aspects of the company’s technological development in support of the company’s strategic plan</li><li>Act as a good steward of Christian Care Ministry's resources; develop and ensure control of IT departmental budgets in alignment with the organization’s financial objectives</li><li>Lead cost-benefit and ROI analyses to determine which platforms and solutions fit CCM needs</li><li>Bring solutions-oriented guidance to the organization’s leadership on how best to apply technology and processes to resolve business problems or improve operations</li><li>Develop and sustain high-quality relationships with the executive leadership team</li><li>Identify risks, opportunities, priorities, issues, and strategic challenges for the organization and strategize appropriate solutions in collaboration with business partners</li><li>Cast vision for, and lead the development and/or deployment of, modern technology solutions</li><li>Be accountable for setting the technology direction and aligning with business objectives</li></ul><div><br><strong>IT Infrastructure &amp; Systems Leadership</strong></div><ul><li>Oversee the development and implementation of the CCM’s technical environment, support new infrastructure rollouts, and define and implement the DevOps process -- including management of the configuration of off-the-shelf software, custom software releases, and other technical operations</li><li>Understand how to strike a balance between in-house development and commercial off the shelf software (COTS) applications.</li><li>Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness</li><li>Stay up to date on all technology advancements and risks that may impact the organization; proactively provide direction to mitigate future technology-related risks, and ensure systems can deliver future operational needs</li><li>Explore how market and industry changes will influence and challenge the whole organization.
