Marketing Coordinator - Hybrid

Position Summary
Are you a detail-oriented marketing professional who thrives on organization and efficiency? We’re looking for a responsible, reliable Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team at Come and See. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing and is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies that promote Come and See’s mission, programs, and fundraising initiatives. 

The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing operations by conducting market research, analyzing campaign performance, assisting with event marketing, and helping maintain brand consistency across communications. This role also involves collaborating on public relations efforts and working closely with internal teams, volunteers, and external partners to maximize the organization’s impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote Come and See’s mission, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Social Media Manager to draft and distribute email newsletters, direct mail pieces and social media content to engage donors, volunteers, and the community.
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to enhance marketing efforts and ROI.
  • Meets with the Sr. Director of Marketing for benchmarking and planning of the company’s short and long-term goals within the department.
  • Perform administrative functions related to marketing operations, including scheduling, reporting, and database management.
  • Assist with marketing budgets, forecasting necessary resources, personnel, and project expenses.
  • Supports marketing team members in budget administration, including managing Statements of Work (SOWs), tracking expenses, and ensuring fiscal accountability.
  • Manages vendor relationships related to marketing operations, ensuring contracts, deliverables, and timelines are met.
  • Leads weekly traffic meetings to align team priorities, track project statuses, and remove roadblocks to ensure timely completion of initiatives.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts for fundraising events, community programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Conduct research on donor demographics, community needs and nonprofit trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collect and analyze data on campaign performance, engagement metrics and fundraising results.
  • Provide recommendations based on data insights to improve outreach efforts.
  • Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows.
  • Perform special projects and duties as needed and/or as assigned.
  • Support leadership with presentation materials, reports, and grant application content.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience required, with a focus on marketing coordination, operations, and project management.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, collaboration, and people skills.
  • Proficiency with workflow and project management systems, specifically Asana.
  • Understanding of CRM systems, data analytics, and marketing automation best practices.
  • Experience supporting budget administration and financial tracking within a marketing department.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within a non-profit organization is a plus.

  • Working Conditions: Office setting with a forty-hour (+) workweek. This is a hybrid position, with the expectation of being in the office at least three days per week. This position is primarily indoors.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent sitting and use of standard office equipment. Has the ability to lift approximately 15-20 pounds. The ability to hear to take phone calls as well as to clearly communicate verbally.
