<h2>Senior AI Developer &amp; Technical Lead</h2><p>Remote (Global)</p><p>Full-time</p><h2>The Opportunity</h2><p>We're looking for a Senior AI/Backend Developer with deep expertise in Python, backend systems, and AI agent frameworks to join our studio team as both a technical contributor and mentor. As a player-coach, you'll split your time between hands-on development and leading our team of developers—helping set technical direction, mentoring junior talent, and ensuring best practices across our ventures.<br><br>You'll help build and scale AI-powered applications across multiple ventures while guiding a distributed team of 3-5 developers through technical challenges and career growth. We are a team of designers, developers, and coordinators, creating polished experiences for our clients and end users. The Product and Engineering Team is responsible for the entire user experience including: End-User Mobile Apps, the Subsplash Dashboard (our Content Management System), Subsplash Giving, the Web App, TV apps, APIs, analytics, and more. The Product and Engineering Team supports our Clients by helping them maximize digital engagement, fuel their mission and expand their reach.</div><div><br><strong>About the Role</strong></div><div>As a Software Development Engineer III, you will report to one of our Software Development Managers. This is a senior level role within our team, and with that comes a high degree of influence. You will work closely with Designers, Project Managers and other Engineers to build systems that people want to use and can rely upon. As more employers use our platform to reimburse employees for individual insurance, how money moves through our system becomes critical to making that experience affordable, reliable, and easy to understand.</div><div>We’re looking for a Staff Engineer with real experience building ledger, payments, card, reimbursement, or money movement systems in production.</div><div><br>This is a senior role with meaningful influence over the technical and product direction of our financial systems.
