<div><strong>Job Summary<br></strong>The Senior Director, Bible Technology Team is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, implementation, execution, product &amp; project management, and personnel for the Bible Technology Team’s suite of products. The Bible Technology suite of products is technology for Bible Translation teams—tools that allow Bible translation teams to take advantage of advances in machine learning and natural language processing. The technology auto-aligns a target language text to the original Greek and Hebrew, which ensures stronger agreement with the original meaning. It also helps translators see patterns, discover inconsistencies, and correct mistakes in their work. The Senior Director, Bible Technology Team is responsible for the teams of experts doing this work, and the success of implementing these initiatives. This role manages a team of software developers, systems architects, linguists, data scientists, and Biblical scholars.<br><br></div><div>This role works closely with the Vice President of Digital Innovation and the Digital Innovation Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies, ideas, and initiatives envisioned, ensuring excellent execution. This role is responsible for ensuring the Bible Technology strategies align with Biblica’s strategic plan and the broader Bible translation movement’s goals— creating synergies between the Bible Technology technologies and other Biblica initiatives.<br><br></div><div>Key skills for success include strategic thinking, business acumen, people &amp; team management, operational excellence, product management, strong communication skills, confidence, assertiveness, and resilience.
