Under the supervision of the IT Infrastructure Manager, this position supports enterprise collaboration systems, manages user lifecycle operations, and assists with related infrastructure projects.</div><div><br></div><h3>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Administer and maintain the Google Workspace environment, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Groups, Meet, and related services.</li><li>Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning, including account lifecycle management, Organizational Unit (OU) structure, and role-based access controls.</li><li>Configure and maintain Google Admin Console settings including security controls, authentication policies, and device management.</li><li>Manage Google Groups structure, permissions, ownership, and membership, ensuring proper access to file shares and shared drives.</li><li>Support Shared Drives administration including ownership models, sharing controls, retention policies, and permission auditing.</li><li>Implement and maintain security best practices such as MFA enforcement, Conditional Access equivalents, and session controls.</li><li>Configure and monitor Google Workspace audit logs and reporting dashboards to identify suspicious activity and compliance gaps.</li><li>Administer Google Vault for eDiscovery, retention policies, legal holds, and export requests as required.</li><li>Support data governance initiatives including Drive sharing restrictions, external sharing policies, and DLP settings.</li><li>Troubleshoot Workspace authentication, email routing, delivery issues, and end-user access problems.</li><li>Provide Tier-3 escalation support for the Service Center and remote Young Life staff related to Google Workspace services.</li><li>Coordinate with IT Security, Help Desk, and Infrastructure teams to implement Workspace security and compliance initiatives.</li><li>Maintain documentation of Google Workspace configurations, policies, and operational procedures.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and Google support for troubleshooting and escalations as needed.</li><li>Assist with infrastructure projects integrating with Workspace, including SSO, identity federation, and automation tools.</li></ul><div><br></div><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>College degree in a computer-related field desired (experience may be considered in lieu of education).</li><li>Google Workspace certifications preferred (e.g., Google Professional Workspace Administrator).</li></ul><div><br></div><h3>Required Experience</h3><ul><li>3–5 years of experience administering Google Workspace in an enterprise environment.</li><li>Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO and directory integrations.</li><li>Experience managing Organizational Units (OUs), group policy structures, and role-based admin delegation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Google Groups, Shared Drives, and file sharing permissions.</li><li>Experience with email troubleshooting including routing, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, spam filtering, and mail flow analysis.</li><li>Experience with Google Vault, retention policies, and eDiscovery workflows.</li><li>Experience with automation tools such as GAM (Google Apps Manager), Google Workspace APIs, or scripting with PowerShell/Python.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.</li><li>Experience working with IT security frameworks and applying security controls to collaboration platforms.</li></ul><div><br></div><h3>Preferred Experience</h3><ul><li>Experience with endpoint management solutions (ChromeOS, MDM, Windows/macOS integration).</li><li>Experience with Microsoft 365 or hybrid collaboration environments.</li><li>Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services and identity integrations.</li><li>Familiarity with DLP solutions and compliance auditing tools.</li><li>Experience supporting large-scale nonprofit or distributed workforce environments.</li></ul><div><br></div><h3>Working Conditions</h3><ul><li>Office environment.</li><li>May require after-hours maintenance and emergency support.</li><li>On-call rotation may be required depending on operational needs.</li></ul><div><br><em>Young Life shall only employ individuals who profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
